A true echo from a simultaneous long and short path reception on MW would be
all but impossible propagation wise from most places on the planet on most
any day or season. Now on 15/13 meters shortwave I've heard it's occurrence
many times, especially at the equinox.

I - like you - was assuming there are two stations and that one has a direct
feed and the other has a delayed feed, possibly through two satellite hops.
It seems unlikely such a long echo would happen with only one station - it
would have to somehow be receiving two feeds and transmitting them both, or
running a feed through something with delay (like a tape deck) and
transmitting it and the original.

In any case, I bet we all believe there is no long path involved.

second transmitter on this channel, located somewhere
else in Cuba?
