I have heard a weak but clear signal on
1593kHz for the last couple of days and right now at 11.55
utc
I have not seen any official
message about a return of Radio Caroline on AM so far. The signal seems to
origiate from the UK. Signal strength: S1 on a perfectly clear 1593kHz. At
the moment "The Year Of The Cat" by Al Steward is playing.
Equipment used: GE-SRIII unadjusted, fresh from the
box using its own antenna.

Lowe HF-150 with Wellbrook ALA-1530P active loop.

Russian Spidola 250 on its own built in antenna.
Interesting detail: The GE-SRIII outperforms my
HF-150 on AM mainly due to the lack of sufficient dynamic range in the Lowe
HF-150.
My location is 10kms south west of Rotterdam, The
Netherlands.
Perhaps this transmission is a so called RSL
 (Restricted Service Licence) .
Does anyone know more about it?
