[HCDX] SIDC Belgium Daily Space Weather Bulletin

Thomas KN4LF Says:
Looks like no Coronal Hole induced geomagnetic storms for the next few days or so, so we should see some improving conditions for MF trans Atlantic/Pacific DX for a day or three. I did hear lot's of European/African hets. last night on the MF AM broadcast band. Had recoverable audio too from Saudi Arabia on 1521 kc with my 2 foot box loop. Also recoverable audio from France on 162 kc using my 130 foot 160 meter inverted L antenna.

COMMENT: Catania sunspot group 96 (NOAA 0431) continues to decline, albeit
slowly. Since yesterday's report, this group has again been the seat of several
C-flares. It is expected to continue generating C-flare activity with a small
chance for an isolated M-class event. It remains the most active sunspot group
on the disk. Activity in the new groups 04 and 05 at the eastern limb is so far
confined to small-scale events. The solar wind speed continues it steady (nearly
linear) decline. It currently stands at 420 km/s approximately. The
interplanetary magnetic field is firmly northwards. Geomagnetic conditions are
quiet and are expected to remain so for the following days.
