[HCDX] Early morning AIR logs from NH

4760, ANDAMAN/NICOBAR ISLANDS, AIR Port Blair,
1123-1137, Dec.1, Hindi music at tune-in, brief talks,
Sitar mx and talks at 1128 into  (listed) Tamil
service at 1130 with what sounded like a radio drama.
Booming at tune-in. (Barbour-NH)

4895, INDIA, AIR Kuresong, 1151-1208, Dec.1, Hindi
music at tune-in, YL w/ "AIR" ID at 1159 followed by
more music. Fair, booming at tune-in. (Barbour-NH)

4970, INDIA, AIR Shillong, 1139-1149, Dec.1, YL, in
English, w/ end of news regrding India and Pakistan,
music at 1140 with military-style band at 1145,
followed by music and talk. Poor, unusable by
tune-out. (Barbour-NH)

4990, INDIA, AIR Itanagar, 1111-1122, Dec.1, Hindi
music at tune-in, YL w/ ID at 1114 followed by OM w/
long talk, Different OM at 1122. Fair tho nasty het
which trying to eliminate resulted in reduced audio
levels. (Barbour-NH)

5010, INDIA, AIR Thiruvananthapuram, 1212-1226, Dec.1,
Hindi mx at tune-in, YL at 1215 w/ ID followed by a
nice ballad. YL, in English!, at 1219 with "This is
AIR with the news", OM w/ news in presumed English,
with weak audio level. OM w/ definite Vernacular talks
at 1225. Fair. (Barbour-NH)

I also had tentative copy of 4940 Guwahati, 5040
Jeypore and 5050 Aizawl around 1200. Perhaps reception
of these will improve in the coming weeks. 

It was rather neat to log these, following the
grey-line across Eastern India, then to re-check Port
Blair and Itanagar and find them gone while Kuresong
boomed in. I love this time of year!
