[HCDX] Logs from NH, Dec.9

3355, PAPAU (PNG), R.Simbu (presumed), 1110-1200*,
Dec.9, OM w/ ballads and talk between songs, YL at
1128 over up-beat music, continuous ballads and pops
until brief YL at 1142 followed by a song that sounded
very much like Phil Collin's "I dont care anymore". YL
at 1154 over "bouncy" country/western style music, OM
at 1157 followed by instrumental music (NA?) at 1159,
off at 1200. Fair/poor signal, over QRN at times,
peaked around 1125 then slowly slipping under QRN.
Presumption based on PNG sign-off times listed in WRTH
2003.
Can anyone in the Western US, S.Pacific/Asia verify
this? I don't recall ever hearing anything at this
time/frequency. (Barbour-NH)

3976, KALIMANTAN, RRI Pontianak, 1027-1040, Dec.9,
Continuos Indonesian talks by OM w/ clear, QRM free
reception for 2 whole minutes(!!!) then "ham"
operators appeared, burying the signal by 1040.
(Barbour-NH)

4790, UNIDENTIFIED, 1046-1053, Dec.9, Pop ballads w/
too much noise to ID language, tho one song appeared
to have been in English. Suddenly engulfed by QRN at
1053. RRI Fak-Fak perhaps?? (Barbour-NH)

Scott R Barbour jr-Intervale,NH-USA
R75, MLB-1, RS longwire w/ RBA balun.
