[HCDX] Logs

770 MEXICO XEQRV, Veracruz; 1200-1218 25 February, 2007. Likely the one, though
never could pin down an ID or slogan (so many listed in John Callarman's great
XE list). Tune in to long list of times (for a program?), mentions of several
Mexican states mentioned, one clear "La Voz de Veracruz" but unsure if a slogan,
program name or merely part of conversation. Good at start, then quickly faded
down by tune out as typical here post-sunrise. Believe I've heard this one
several times before, with some slogan(s) or another.

880 CUBA Radio Progreso, Pinar del Río; 1218-1222 25 February, 2007. Noting
that the audio here is a full one second behind 640 kHz. Now THAT'S Progreso!

1180 FLORIDA Radio Martí, Marathon; 0300-0305 26 February, 2007. Really
punching though the two Rebelde placeholders tonight. Good with Spanish news,
actualities, ID.

6055 TURKEY Voice of Turkey; 1943-1954 25 February, 2007. English with female
Turk culture feature, ID and into Turkish pop vocal. Clear and fair.

6140 RUSSIA Vatican Radio (relay), Atamanovka (listed site); 1302-1316 25
February, 2007. Tune in to the fond sounds of an Old School USSR-era engineer 1
kHz on/off tuning tones till 1313 Vatican Radio interval signal, female
Vietnamese ID and programming from 1315. Clear and fair.

6220 ITALY [PRESUMED] (PIRATE) Mystery Radio; 0045-0130 26 February, 2007.
Blowing in, as usual, with auto-pilot pop music, including Stevie Wonder's
"Master Blaster (Jammin')" reggae single.

9599.25 MEXICO XEYU Radio UNAM, México DF; 1630-1732* 24 February, 2007. Good,
with nonstop classical piano solo. Pulled the plug at 1732, and never returned
through mid-afternoon (local) checks. Still not active through 1930 check on
the 25th.

9704 NIGER La Voix du Sahel; 2106-2128 clear and fair with female singer/drums
highlife, French male announcer.

10400 CHINA Dragon jammer; 1954-2028 25 February, 2007. Clear and weak, but
growing signal with the usual long instrumental loop.

11820 SA'UDI ARABIA BSKSA Holy Qu'ran Service, Riyadh; 2132-2202 24 February,
2007. Presumed the one, excellent with mullah recital, Arabic male announcer
after 2200.
