[HCDX] Logs

530 CUBA Radio Cadena Habana; 1800-1832 3 March, 2007. Interesting observation:
it appears that "Noticiero Nacional de Cuba," the daily 30-minute news, sports
and weather program that many stations pick up, actually originates from Radio
Rebelde's studios. At the 1830 conclusion, a few seconds of the Rebelde theme
aired before Cadena Habana's board (bored?) op abruptly cut and flipped to the
Cadena programming. By the way, no trace of Air Martí this day (local Saturday)
at 2300 or 0000 checks. I wasn't home on Friday to try for it then (seems
they're often up on Fridays instead).

6221.91 ITALY (PIRATE) Mystery Radio; 2159-2245 3 March, 2007. Blasting in at
local level with mostly 70's-era disco, "live" male with seemingly Dutch accent
at 2221, mentioning, "... Mystery jukebox all night long..."

15066.76 PIRATE (EURO or NORTH AMERICA?) unidentified; 1722-1740 4 March, 2007.
Thanks D. Crawford tip, AM mode and also mostly only fair on peaks but in the
clear with rock music, including Guns N Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine" then
US-accented male at 1732, "Welcome to a DX test transmission from Channel B [I
know that wasn't correct, just what it sounded like] Radio" into "Fox On the
Run" by Sweet. Another similar ID into Suzi Quatro's dyn-o-mite "48 Crash"
thrasher (could this guy actually know his music trivia? Quatro worked with
Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, who both also wrote material for Sweet), U2's "I
Will Follow." "Hocus Pocus" by Focus (the same track Crawford picked up on at
1713), Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Bowie "Rebel Rebel," Sex Pistols
"Anarchy in the UK." Off or lost around 1809-ish. Email
[channel?radio]@gmail.com announced, but ChannelB and ChannelD bounced, for what
it's worth.

15265 UK (CLANDESTINE) Radio Sohl; 1330-1420 4 March, 2007. Excellent with
Afghan pop vocals, Pashto or Dari male announcer. Occasional long gaps after
some songs, like 1358-1400, for whatever reason. Presume via listed Rampisham
site.

17632.5 MOLDOVA (CLANDESTINE) Sawt al Amal; 1310-1330 4 March, 2007. No trace
of this one in the 17620-17680 range, but abruptly up at 1310 here, very good
level with Arabic man, ID's, Mideast filler music. No jammer present or at
least audible anywhere near. Presumed site.
