Peru, 4746.92, Radio Huanta Dos Mil, 2302-2315 Noted two females in
conversational Spanish. Both gals talking with a monotone, making it
difficult
to pull out any type of details. Signal was fair. (Chuck Bolland, October
24, 2008)
China, 5830, Firedrake (Music Jammer) 2318-2330 Don't know why this is
on this particular frequency, there's no other broadcasts here or nearby
that would upset China where they'd want to jam it. Anyway, Music Jammer
continued without any break during the period and more. (Chuck Bolland,
October 24, 2008)
China, 5915, China Radio International, Kashi-Saibagh, 2331-2345 At tune
in, noted a male and female in English language comments. Mention of "CRI"
often during tge period. AOKI lists this via Kashi-Saibagh, China as well
as
the WRTH. Signal was fair with splatter. (Chuck Bolland, October 24,
2008)
Bolivia, 5952.49, Emisoras Pio XII, 2340-2359, With a really good signal
at tune in, not a male and female persons in Spanish comments until 2341,
when music presented. Heard "Bolivia" mentioned, but still waiting for an
ID. At 2347, music. Song sounded like a political song and the talk
following the song continued in that vain. During the period 2355 to 0001,
nothing but canned ADs. Didn't hear any ID. Signal was good during the
period.
(Chuck Bolland, October 24, 2008)
Brazil, 6080, Radio Anhanguera, 0015-0030, This is under HCJB with
Portuguese comments and Bras music. Signal is poor with mixing as
mentioned. (Chuck Bolland, October 25, 2008)
Zimbabwe, 3396, Zimbabwe Broadcasting or Radio Zimbabwe, 0035-0100
Noted a weak signal here with steady Hilife music. Heard comments at about
0050 UTC, but couldn't make them out? Heard more comments at 0103,
noise is plowing under the signal. (Chuck Bolland, October 25, 2008)
