THAI LOGGINGS

Here are my Thai loggings from LEM132 & LEM138 expeditions to Lemmenjoki, Northern Finland in November 1999 and January 2000. I would like to thank a few very professional Finnish dx-ers for giving their helping hand on my former questions. Thank you Ari Inkinen, Mika Makelainen, Jari Korhonen, Per-Ole Stenman, Hakan Sundman, Martti Karimies and Jari Savolainen for your most valuable comments!

In October Ari Inkinen heard on 1224 both Thahaan Akart, Chiang Rai (closing their local programme at 1502 UTC) and Thahaan Akart, Nakhon Sawan (closing at 1504 UTC). The Bangkok transmitter has moved to 1233 kHz. LEM138

Their infor-ma-tive web pages can be found at http://kumis.cpc.ku.ac.th/~eto/kurn (thanks to Hakan Sundman for this tip). There is also another station in Thailand on 1269 kHz (Kor.Sor.Tor.Bor., Bangkok), but it has not yet been heard in Finland. LEM132

I hope these loggings bring some new light into Thai mediumwave listening. All comments and tips of other information sources are most welcome!
