FM-LOG - SUMMER 2001
JIM SOLATIE (JMS), FINLAND
This was a good summer, in fact the best ever what comes to the amount of reception reports. The conditions were not the best ones, but somehow reports just rolled in. A total of almost 200 reports were sent in June-August and almost two thirds have now replied! It has been fantastic to receive more that 10 FM QSL's a week! Please see www.makelainen.com/dx/

ES-LOGGINGS
FRANCE
This summer I experienced two great openings to France. The first one was on the 23rd May, starting my ES-summer. Those conditions were mostly to Golfe du Lion -region, an area which has never been open before! The second great opening was on the 3rd July. At that time numerous stations from more common areas were heard. Also many interesting RDS-codes were seen (like 96,2 Kerne, 96,9 Voltage, 99,0 Nevers etc.), but because only music was heard, there is no point to log those.

99,3 24.6.2000 1531 I: RVE R Vallesino, Castelplanio (AN). After the news a simple id "su frequencia di erre-vu-e", but since EFMH lists only Radio Vallesino, it remained a mystery for a year. JMS
