Tässä tuore esimerkki CD:n käytöstä raportoinnissa:
"QSL from R. Verdad: Today I received a QSL card, a paper
pennant, a personal letter, a calendar and a radiation area info sheet
in 4 weeks for a report (in Spanish) incl. an IRC and a recording of
their programme on CD. They said it was the first recording they ever
got on a CD. The radiation info sheet lists also the countries from
which they received reports. Belgium was not on their list until now.

älä missään tapauksessa lähetä wav-tiedostoa, se on liian iso.
Ääni kannattaa pakata esim. ra- tai mp3-tiedostoksi.  Onnistuu
mm. CoolEditillä.
Kaikki dx-kuuntelijan tarvitsema teoriatieto äänen digitalisoinnista
ja pakkaamisesta on osoitteessa:

Sivustoa on aivan hiljattain päivitetty.

Tähän liittyen toinen juttu.  Nythän cd-levyjen hinnat ovat
lähes romahtaneet.  Kangasalla saa paikallisesta Hongkong-
halpatavaratalosta levyjä noin hintaan 4 mk (~70 snt),
eli cd on jo selvästi halvempi kuin C-kasetti.
Miksi ei siis käyttää cd-levyä raportointiin kasetin
sijasta?  Onko kukaan kokeillut?  Hieman hassuahan on
polttaa cd:lle 1-2 minuuttia ääntä, kun 72-73 minuuttia
jää tyhjäksi...
Miten asemat mahtavat suhtautua cd-levyyn?  Kokemuksia?
