There is obviously a business problem between Amazon and the WRTH
publishers. A few weeks ago I had a phone call from Germany telling me that
Amazon's German branch was informing customers that the WRTH will "not be
published this year." Only a couple of days later I read that the first
copies were reaching customers in the UK. What's strange is that WRTH is
published in Germany through a separate publisher, the same one they've used
in the past few years.
As I hope you all realise, I have absolutely no connection with WRTH
anymore, but I'd suggest that you order your copies through one of the
specialist radio suppliers who will certainly appreciate your business. I
don't know what the procedure is now, but in my day these suppliers (Grove,
Universal etc.) often received priority shipments ahead of the regular
bookstores.
