NEWS
INDONESIA Finally identified RRI Merauke 3905 tunable in the evenings thanks a
coperation job. Signal sometime strong but modulation low,so very hard to heard
the id. After a group effort and an extensive monitoring we have surely heard
this elusive station. Thanks everybody.
ASIA OCEANIA Now seem to be time to listen Asian and Oceania only, RRI stations
coming also around 2200-2300, AIR's are lower respect last Autumn,but regular.
NBC Port Moresby on 4890 when open was heard also @1400 from Andrea Lawendel
and Rocco Cotroneo and also if there regular s/on at 1930 some evenings come
with incredible signal. No chances for LA, only few, usual and low signals are
tunable. We are waiting for increase in solar activity before to hope in good
LA propagation. Medium wave are often fair to good.
WORLD MUSIC RADIO Stig Hartvig Nielsen no longer work at R. ABC Denmark,this
station ceased to operate in sw via Kaliningrad on Oct. 20 last year. Now in
the qsl ( very nice!) him let us know about the future project to operate a new
Short Wave Musical Radio Station called World Music Radio (like a old one in
'70) Operation will start on March 30 and ask for contributions.
