As I'm writing this (that's around 08.20 UTC), I'm comfortably behind my 7030,
enjoying the sounds of NBC Port Moresby on 9675 kHz ! :-)

I would use MS Access and then export into ASCII using a tab as seperator
between the columns. 

Actually, I have just been testing ERGO, an excellent Win95 program to control
the 7030/R8/NRD-535/HF1000. I didn't get to the point of importing Excel-files
into the Ergo database yet.
