[HCDX]: News and logs from wedding trip !!!!

Just came today from a wonderful wedding trip in Skiathos .Skopelos and
Alonissos with much tan in my body
These islands are located in the middle of Greece and are also called Vories
Sporades ( Northern Sporaden ) which are very rich of mountains and trees
I will try however to include more info on the places later ( if time
permits!) in the geocities web pages
Nothing more to say about the niceties of this trip but below you willfind
some information i gathered from my observations in thhe local FM bands,
some SW logs and some info from a new newspaper called Media
Frst the news ( possibly you aklready know this )
The greek radio station ERA is now in their 60 years of operation

The greek radio station ERA is planning from the 1st of July to use the so
called ERA international. As by the news they wil use the high powered
transmitters in MW to transmit various programs from the local staions of
the network
FRequencies refered : 1008 , 1512 , 954 ,1404 , 1494 ( did not catch the
whole info)

The greek radio netwïrk startred alredy a special program every Sunday 1300
LT for the foreigners who work in greece

SW logs made in 3 diferent places :
- system SONY ICF 7600 D
- antennas 2 - 4 m stranded 0.7 and 1.5 mm
thick no WRTH in use !
R Tailand showed on 28/6 that their program is now also in real audio with
their server Could not however record the adress
Malaysia was at all the time ( 15-29 /6 well audible at 34333 for 09-11 and
abt 32333 at 1630-18xx ) on their transmissions on 15295

A SONY 7600 D tip for listening to FM DX stations:
You can have a great enhancement of listening to FM-DX signals by using a
cable of 1.5 m or bigger to plug itself in the auxiliary output
There can be also some enhancement if you connect a small wire from the
telescopic antenna to the wire of the cable !
Because of possible damage of the antenna input base there was no significant
diference on using the cable in it
