You're right and the same holds true re the "not final" status of the
frequencies you mentioned in your original submission to the list, but
while 15050 has been in use for some military flights activities, or so I
believe, 6975 has not, as far as I know, been used by to ATC nets
supporting civilian flights. 11300 definetely was and still is. And that in
a geographical area with little or no VHF coverage from ground-based ATC
radars. In other words, 11300 could literally be *vital* for aircraft
pilots over the African continent. That's why I don't think 11300 would be
a wise selection, especially since UN personnel is involved. Besides, there
would be some problems with SW sets. Fixed band models would be ill-fitted
to tune such an out-of-band QRG (and I don't think 535 and 7030s are a
popular appliance for your average Bangui household). That's all. But we'll
see for sure once that "controversial" service starts.
I think no further comment is needed on this topic and I apoligize for
having taken all of you out of track.

Of course that was a joke, I do hope Colin or others took no offense. A
"Christian" (or make it simply, "dedicated") DX-er isn't supposed to spread
false accusation on the Net, is he/she?
