[HCDX]: Early fade in of 49 MB Europeans
Early fade-in of Voice of Russia here at Elkridge, Maryland.
I know that VoR is not a great DX catch, but it looks like the MUF to
Europe is low during Midday to the ECNA. I also heard AIR 7410 as
well as numerous other stations on the 41 MB between 1800 and 1900.
Some of them might have been audible before 1700 UTC or 12 noon
local.
RUSSIA (assumed) 5940 Voice of Russia (Site?) fade in at *1752.
Heard test tone keyed off and on until 1759. IS at 1759:30 and VoR
World Service in English ID by man at 1800 into news by woman.
Signal was poor to fair. However, I bet it would have been audible
at 1700 if they had turned the transmitter on. Comment: 1752 is
12:52 PM local time in Maryland. Signals on 5930, 6085, 6135 and 6195
were also audible between 1800-1830. (30 Nov Harms-MD)
