man, ID by woman, then by both together. Fair signal with slight
co-channel QRM. (Valko 24 Oct.)
1036- 4840.01- PERU- Radio Andahuaylas 1036-1045 Noted threshold signal
here with music and Spanish comments by a man. Many mentions of "Peru".
Filler music was flutes. As mentioned Signal was threshold. (Bolland,
October 23, )
1042- 7003.78??- PERU- LV de Huarinjas, 1042-1054, Huaynos with same
usual fast-talking live man announcer between songs. 1044 time check,
talk, ID with Province QTH, program name, another time check ending
announcement. 1048 song announcement, mention of onda corta during the
announcement. 1052 man again but all I could detect was a time check. CW
QRM briefly at 1051. Very fast fade out and gone by 1055. Amazed at how

Believe it to be Asian station. Noted a man in comments and later a
woman in comments Heard IS for a second or two, but couldn't identify

addr, acknowledged listeners letters, gave contest with 3 questions,
mentioned New Years celebration, and interviewed the new governor. The
governor later read e-mails over the air!! Canned multi-lingual IDs.
Canned tourism PSA. Gave the Web site addr, phone numbers, a CD
lottery. Commentary about St. Helena citizenship. Talk about Tristan da
Cunha by the Island Administrator. Off at 2319 with GSTQ. Fair at tune
in (S meter not budging), but very strong by 2030 (S-7). (Valko, USA 23

the folowing frequencies shortwave, 11715 khz in the 25.6 meterband, and
on 151?? khz in the 19.3 meterband. ?? can also be heard from 2000 to
2100 hours GMT on 11750 khz shortwave and on the 1200 meter longwire
frequency or254 khz. ?? comments or suggestions, all your mail is

Boulevard ??, Algiers, Algeria". Strong. Would be nice listening if

Almost a perfect grayline to Pekanbaru at this time. Do they play an IS
