[HCDX]: Radio ELVI, Finland 90,0 MHz

Finnish media camp radio station Radio ELVI is testing already
today on 30th May 2000 on 90,0 Mhz with 150 watts. The station
is in the air between 5th June - 11th June 2000. On 10th June
there will
be a special "DX RADIO DAY" -program on Radio ELVI. All reception
reports are welcomed to: Radio ELVI, c/o Markku Korhonen, Rinnetie
12, 88300  Paltamo, Finland. The station is situated on the shores
of
Lake Oulujarvi near the town of Kajaani in the Northeast Finland.

At the same time on 10th - 16th June 2000 there is also an army radio
station in the air in this area. Radio Vaara 2000 is operated by the
Finnish Armed Forces during a big manoeuvre. The station is using the
following frequencies:

Vuokatti 101,2 MHz 
Iisalmi 103,1 MHz 
Sotinpuro 106,1MHz
Oulu 106,2 MHz
Tervola 98,3 MHz
Taivalkoski 90,0 MHz
