Mark,

Thanks for relaying the information about radio Thailand to me.  It 
fits with what I'm hearing right now.  It's a frequency that my 
girlfriend (whose Thai) used to listen to and it came as a bit of a 
surprise to hear extended English last night.  There's not much 
spoken word, mainly uninterrupted music.  The music is of the same 
genre for each section, it sounds like an unaccompanied compilation 
CD.  It's been playiing classical music for the last twenty minutes 
or so.
