[HCDX] Weekly DX News

If any of you were wondering, the subject title "Weekly DX News" is just my
own preferential title I use when sending out my loggings for the week.
Its not a DX bulletin per se.

LAOS 6130, LNR, 1054-1105, Talk by man in obvious Laotian, SE Asian Pop
music, beautiful instrumental music at top of the hour, time ticks, then
woman announcer voice-over past 1104. More traditional SE Asian music at
1156 retune, 7 Big Ben type bells denoting local time at 1159, and what
sounded like an ID with mention of Laos. Still barely in at 1210, which is
almost an hour and a half after local sunrise. Fair early on with a little
slop QRM from 6125. (Valko 2 Sept.)

INDONESIA 4925, RRI Jambi, 1105, Koran, very brief man announcer at 1113,
and into easy Indo Lagu. Good signal and the best Indo this morning.
(Valko 2 Sept.)

PERU 4880.85, R. Comas, *0955-1013, OC as early as 0939. On with
instrumental version of NA, canned sign on announcement by man at 0957,
then live man at 0958 with short ID, music bridge, then different man with
talk over music giving program name "A Hora ?? ". Instrumental OA campo
music, and mix of music with discussions by several men till tune out. Was
lucky to get the ID as the modulation level is very low. (Valko 5 Sept.)

Conditions generally poor this past week.

Take care and best 73's Dave
