Are you sure about 6600 kHz for Lao Cai?  Don't you mean 6695 kHz?  6600
is Voice of the People, South Korea.

to allow identification. A close look at the map reveals it to be a town
close to the border to China. On my map though, the spelling is Lao Kay,
