I enjoyed reading the on-air gaffes on this site.

Here are a couple more, heard on CBC-2 during a sports report:

"The Boston KELTICS".  (Although in many cases the initial c in "celtic" is
hard, Boston's NBA team always has a soft c)

"The Fighting Irish of Nohtre-Dahm" (pronounced as in Parisian FF, rather
than the usual American EE "noter daym")

CBC-2 is the cultural/fine arts network on FM.  Don't know if they were just
ignorant about sports, or mispronounced the above deliberately, just to
sound highbrow and erudite.
