Recent loggings, some help needed...

6155 31-Jul 0110 Unid. Station with soft hindi songs, could have been Christian. Faded out at 0125. Noisy
                                preacher on 6150.
0130 Ireland . Sudden sign-on with RTE1 news, local reception quality, and away it went as
abruptly as it had started in mid-sentence 0159. Some test ? The news must have been
a re-broadcast, not live, since I do not really think they have those severe traffic jams
in the middle of the night as reported in "Trafic & Travel". Slogan 5-7 Live.
0200 Only traces of a LA-station with female DJ and tangos.. Nothing to go for. But Gert Nilsson way up in northern Sweden reports that he had Banda Oriental with QSA 5 at that hour.

3210 31-Jul 0250 Costa Rica. Radio Exterior de España must have had a local newscast. It was definetely
not the "REE Madrid" sound . Male newsreader and music between items. At 0300 they
connected with Madrid, and they brought "their" news. So perhaps they have a studio
in San José. Good signal, but noisy CW hacking.

1485 29-Jul 1910 Germany. AFN Bavaria. I took some time to listen to the tapes. The slogan seems to be
"You are listening to AFN Bavaria - The Big Gun"

1584 30-Jul 1756 Romania. Pop format and short nx and wx clearlly indicates Radio Popular. However
right at this time, another station was also heard, and it was definitely in Italian, with an
odd modulation. It disappeared very soon. I'll check again.

1593 30-Jul 1813 Romania. Two different networks on the same channel. Radio Romania Cultural, good,
with monumental opera choirs (Nabucco, etc). At the same time, a bit weaker but really
pushing on with "holiday musik", Viva Espana, medleys of Cielito Lindo , Ay, ay
ay, Maria, etc, texts in German. But female DJ seemed to talk Hungarian. At 1900 an
                                 id including "Radio Vacanta"

Not much to holler about. But a few things to check. SW conditions have improved a lot compared with two weeks ago, and the lightning thunder has taken some time off. Stay away there, thanks.
