[HCDX] Logs from Russia

Astounding results from a new antenna! Now with 10 metre of wire
horizontally on the outside of the house several stations appeared with
before had not been audible. But also good condx that day.

Does anyone know if the R Nederland tx on 15315 has been switched back
to Bonaire from Juelich? Seemed so on April 12, 2055 UTC (see below).

Last weekend's loggings:

4760 - Radio Liberty via Dushanbe/TJK, no IS, but straight forward
start as "Radio Azadi" at 0100 UTC, 13 April. SINPO 34333.

4485 - Radio Rossii via Ufa, 13 April 0115 UTC, SINPO 44333, in Russian
with electronic music. No regional px at that time on all heard
parallels, which are: 5930-Murmansk (32332), 6160-Arkhangelsk (23322),
5290-Krasnoyarsk (34222), 7220-Yekaterinburg (44333), 873-St.Petersburg
(65555, yes 6), 261-Taldom (45444), 567-Volgograd (24332), 765-
Petrozavodsk (33222), 1089-Tblisskaya (44343), 5910-Moskva(55434), 5935-
Moskva (54544). 11840-Sakhalin seemed also to be there, also parallel,
but disappeared the next second. Nothing on the Yakutia/Magadan
channels, alas.

4925 - RADIO REPUBLIK INDONESIA, Jambi, 12 April, 2255 UTC, SINPO
33232. Woman talking, Mx, at 2300 the well-known Indonesian IS song,
announcement. Happy about this, I think only my 3rd or 4th RRI local
catch.

4950 - AIR Srinagar, 13 April, 0024-0100 UTC. IS, then Indian Mx \\
4860 until 0030, then Quran recitation, no more \\ 4860. Then Music
programme. SINPO 34333.

4976 - Radio Uganda (tent), 12 April, 2016 UTC. Very weak, with a woman
talking. SINPO 22322.

4980 - station from Venezuela, I did hear "Tachira". Nx and talk in
Spanish. 13 April, 0130 UTC, SINPO 33333.

4985 - Radio Brasil Central, 13 April, 0145 UTC, SINPO 34333, with pop
and LA mx.

5005.02 - Radio Nepal, 12 April, 2310 UTC, SINPO 23322. Test tones,
then instrumental mx. Chimes at 2314, after that m talk, local music.
Splatter from "nearby" RWM - Timesignals Moscow.

5027.14 - Radio Pakistan Quetta, 13 April, 0016 UTC, msp (male
speaker), arab chant. SINPO 34222.

5835 - Radio Nederland via Kaliningrad, 12 April, 2032 UTC, SINPO
55333, in Dutch. Px "Nieuwslijn" (Newsline) with Nx and reports.
Parallel 15315 (see there)

5925 - Falung Gong Radio, said to be via Sitkunai, in Chinese. 12
April, 2117 UTC, SINPO 43433. Talk.

6458.5 - AFRTS Puerto Rico, with report in English. 13 April, 0022 UTC,
SINPO 33333.

6972.99 - Galei Zahal, 14 April, 2105 UTC, in Hebrew with pop music,
interesting to hear that it seemed to be pro-peace songs. Had they also
played Jackson Browne's "Lives in the balance", I would have guessed it
to be an anti-government station! SINPO 42332 due to a het with
something unmodulated on 6974.6, with notch filter and "narrow" turned
SINPO to 43333. (LSB also but then poor audio).

7590 - Tomorrow's News Today via Sitkunai, 12 April, 2030 UTC, SINPO
45333 and poor audio. Test tones with various pitches, then fanfare and
a US sermon. Was too much not interesting, had not sufficient patience
for a RR.

9355 - Golos Pravoslavia (Voice of Orthodoxy) via Kazakhstan, 12 April,
1530-1600 UTC, SINPO 54444, in Russian. In the background the Iranian
bubble jammer, the Mullahs apparently thought it to be VoMojahed.
Lecture of a book telling how to live.
At the end a switching error provided me with a new "relay" - after
the VoO chimes the Voice of Russia IS was heard, and they switched off
only after the "Govorit Moskva".

9737.47 - Radio Nacional del Paraguay, in Spanish. 12 April, first at
2150 UTC with SINPO 33333 already, and again at 2339 UTC with 44333.
Many promotion, px previews, and some nx at midnight UTC (20.00 horas
locales), and a piano concert after more promotion. The Egyptians must
have had a strange inspiration to chose 9740 for their Spanish
transmission to Latin America starting at 0045! Also strong here,
Paraguay listening of course no more pleasant. Who does win the fight
in South America? Maybe someone happens to know? (Will be a horrible
het, at least)

10000 - BPM China, Time signals, 12 April, 2224 UTC, SINPO 43333. At
2229 the usual ID - 10x "BPM" in morse and twice "Beeee-Peeeee-Emm" and
something chinese after it, by chinese woman.

14159.5 - I know normally hams are not for this list but this one
pushed my S-meter to the end! That is, S=9+60dB. Also on first
harmonic, and my rx gave him, though highly distorted, not only on any
frequency but even with audio turned down (housing reception?) Probably
from the big antennae on the adjacent building, or from the P.O. next
door with a huge tx tower on it, if that includes a ham relay...?

15150.03 - Voice of Indonesia, 15 April, 1902 UTC, SINPO 54444!
Farewell announcement in German, then announcement in English that
French service is to follow at "19.00", but then only a long silence. A
bit later they started playing the next tape - but at half speed!!
Stopped it soon, then silence (open carrier) till 1911+ (this was the
moment I declared it necessary to sleep, after a dx weekend ;-)

15315 - Radio Nederland in Dutch, 12 April, 2032-2125 UTC. Did they
change the tx site from temporary Juelich to normal Bonaire inbetween?
At 2055 reception instantly dropped from SINPO 55444 to 35333.
Interesting to know what happened.
