[HCDX] Czechia and Slovakia new list of transmitters

Hi,

as every year in January a new edition of the list of transmitters in the Czech
Republic and Slovakia is to be printed. Edition 2003 contains all info on AM, FM and
TV transmitters and stations in both countries. Published by the Czechoslovak DX Club
(CSDXC), this 100-page book costs 5 EUR.

For those who did not note yet, Czechoslovakia as a state has been divided 10 years
ago and from 1 January 1993 there are two independent states - Czech Republic (or
Czechia) and Slovak Republic (or Slovakia). Although the relations between the two
countries are now even better than those 10 years ago, it is not likely that they
join together ever again. Both countries (with 10 resp. 5 millions of inhabitants)
become members of the European Union in May 2004.

Best wishes for 2003,

Karel Honzik
the Czech Republic (Czechia)
