However, for analyzing or recording a single channel over a long period of time I still need a 25 kHz small spectrum rather than 1600 kHz. For doing that I am now again using my good old minidisc recorder, just because it is more effective.
For me, this development is going into the wrong direction. 1600 kHz are fine for recording the DX camp once or twice a year. For the rest of the year it´s not that useful, because it eats tons of space on a collection of harddiscs.
