Re : [HCDX]: Radio San Miguel

Richard,
I do not know how conditions are "down under", but normally R. San Miguel
was considered one of the easiest Bolivians on 60m in Central & W. Europe.
However, it has been quite some time since I got a readable signal from
them. Over the last months I noted several times a carrier around 4926,
around midnigth UTC. I assume this was R. San M., but cannot confirm this.
Station is known to vary in frequency almost from day to day. So it seems to
be active, but apparently with less "punch" to get through. Maybe technical
reasons ? Interestingly, R. Illimani (4945), which used to be the easiest
Bolivian by far in 1997/8, has also been poorly audible during the last
year. Only the last month I receive this one regularly again (though weak).
In fact the out of band Bolivians like R. Movima (4471.9) are more regular
catches these days.
