Tom, I generally hear PNG here in the mornings with at least a 20uV/m field
strength.  What's all this new-fangled dBm stuff... <G>  And Ralph... -110dBm
is probably as low as a Drake will go, given residential/suburban noise
levels.

I tuned to the Solomon Islands and found them at 4960.005 KHz at
1012Z. Signal strength ñ110 dBm. Barely audible but a female in
French was heard.

Nice trick, Tom.  They must be drifting horribly. :-)

What you heard was most likely Vanuatu.  Solomon Islands are on 5020
or thereabouts.
