Re: [HCDX] Re: DX-Camp Bavaria
Hi,
as a participant of this camp I should like to comment some of Hans
K's critics
(he's got no real name?):
Hans K. wrote:
Looking at your "great" report I have the following remarks:
3279.6 EQA La Voz del Napo, 06.50
Hans K: As usually this is relay of Radio Maria Ecuador from Tena TX.
A bit earlier that day they identified as a joint program of LV del
Napo, Radio Maria
and Voz del Upano
3365 PNG R Milne Bay, 19.35
Hans K: No reports of this station at morning transmissions from
Oceanian reporters
OK, no local ID was heard, but was in parallel with 4890 which was
booming in with O=4 at that time.
Might have been a Dutch pirate relaying Port Moresby on Milne Bay's
frequency :-). Or just wait some days
for the boys from downunder with a report of this morning transmission
from Milne Bay.....
3935.1 NZL ZLXA, 17.15
Hans K: This is really unlike, too early for New Zealand, same day
same hour reported pirate dutch station on 3935 kHz
Too early? Have a look on a gray line map. Station was really weak, only
fragments of readings in English could be heard,
only on the beverage of 50 degrees. Signals faded out at 1735 hours. So
propagation and direction fit on ZXLA; no other
broadcasting station was heard around this frequency. English readings
without any music on a Dutch pirate? Very unlikely.
Hans K: Can you please explain the mind of presumed ?? around these
frequencies operates many fishers men in Mediterranean area......
You are rigth, but they don't play music from the Andes very often ....
HansK: These are just a little ..... list of almost curious tips.....
No, just some fine loggings.
